games

played solitaire and runescape; was very surprised that neither game had any bandwidth problems. Expected runescape to be mindless finghting; amazing how they are ready for new players and work with you to get experience and succeed. I might even play again.

maps

used google maps many times to plan trips -- both short ones for meetings and longer vacations; used nearby function to find hotels and restaurants

have created an area map of libraries to see if helpful for reference

delicious

easy to use and easy to find; now to make it a bit more organized!

delicious

eaudio

able to search just fine, downloading is the rub; will take over an hour to download an average book at home; just another reason patrons need high speed access at the library

checked out -- Moon is a harsh mistress by Robert Heinlein

interface is easy, would like more details about each title; would be even nicer if they gave you an idea of download time before you checked out and started the download. Now if I want to bail on the download the item can't be checked back in.

looking forward to when overdrive goes live

podcasts

enjoyed npr's wait wait.. don't tell me -- democrats should get a grip and stop listening to negative ads

and listened obama's weekly radio address using itunes

had some trouble getting podcasts to play in explorer and firefox, needed more plug-ins; less trouble in itunes -- hope our stations work for the patrons using the web since they can't use itunes

facebook

finally tried out goodreads, will see if I add any more books

3 blogs I would like to read more of

Stephen Abraham -- real cool librarian

George Needham -- radical ideas for librarians/libraries

John Blyberg -- michigan's lost, but at least we can still read what he is doing
